Shenzhen Keju New Materials Co., Ltd was founded in June 2005 with a registered capital of 10 million yuan. It is located in Building A19, Section C2, 2nd Phase Project of the Third Industrial Zone, Fuqiao Bridge, Fuyong Street, Bao'an District, Shenzhen City. It is mainly engaged in the production of modified engineering plastics, R&D and sales of high-performance polymers and new materials, and import and export of goods and technologies. It was identified as “Scientific Private Enterprise in Shenzhen” in September 2006 and “Hi-tech Enterprise in February 2007 by the Shenzhen Bureau of Science Technology & Information. At present, the company has 37 patents for inventions and more than 180 staffs.
The company attaches great importance to the R&D and innovation of products. The R&D Department was set up as soon as the company was founded. While the R&D results promoted the rapid growth of the company, the R&D Department also grew and it was renamed as Technology R&D Center. Leader of the company firmly believe that "The only way out is research and development, and only innovation can lead to development," and provide spacious and bright offices, labs, sample making rooms and special storerooms, invest sufficient funds for scientific research and constantly increase the investment for the R&D Center. The structure, talent selection, use and incentive mechanisms of the technical personnel in R&D are based on the official technical personnel of the company combining with the introduction of domestic and foreign experts, professors and senior engineers in the industry to form a high-level professional technical R&D team composed of old, middle-aged and young people. The technical personnel are mainly in charge of the R&D of new products, and technologies, as well as pilot production in the Production Department. It is a relatively intensive organization accessible to rapid communication as it is composed of experts, professors and consultants with professional technical personnel at the core. By the end of June 2007, there are 33 R&D personnel with a Bachelor’s Degree or above, including 1 post-doctorate, 3 doctors and 5 people with mid technical titles or Master’s Degree. In addition, research teams on engineering plastics like PC, PA, PET, PC/ABS, PPO and PPS composed of doctors, masters and bachelors were founded successively to train high-level scientific research team with sense of responsibility and innovative spirit to explore and expand the overall competitiveness of the company.
The company’s products include general engineering plastics like PP, PET, PBT, PA, PC, ABS and POM, and the modified series of the special engineering plastics like PPO, PPS, PEEK, PEI, PSU, LCP including alloy series (PET / PBT, PPO / PS, PC / ABS, PC / PET, PVC / ABS, PPS / PA), reinforced series, toughening series, conductive series, thermal conductive series, magnetic series, wear-resistant series, halogen-free fire-retardant series, long fiber and short fiber reinforced series. All of the products are independently developed by our company with independent IPR. Our company is engaged in the new material industry with high technological content. For long, the company has attached great importance to independent innovation by carrying out independent project approval and R&D guided by market. In terms of technological research and development, we have always adhered to the principle of “one generation developed, the other generation being developed, and the future generation in pre-research” so that the products of the company will always be in the forefront of the industrialization technology, and occupy the high-point of the market. For example, the company has input manpower and material resources in the pre-research of products which may be industrialized 5-10 years later. And we are speeding up the construction of the postdoctoral workstation to carry out the research on material science and develop the independent brand of the national industry. Our final objective is to change the passive situation that China always relied on export on the top material science.
